Vision Statement
To provide a safe home for girls (normally between the ages of 5 and 18) who have been sexually/physically/emotionally abused. However, girls who have been rejected because they are the result of incest and those who have lost one or both parents have been welcomed into the family when there has been space.
1. To provide adequate food and nourishment.
2. To provide education suitable to their individual needs, including vocational skills and home management, so that each girl can reach her potential.
3. To provide healthcare.
4. To provide a family home in which the girls are enabled to grow up as Christians and good citizens of Swaziland.
5. Where possible to reintegrate the girls back into some part of their family if it is considered safe to do so.
6. To provide a holistic approach to physical and psychological healing.
7. To liaise with organisations who refer girls to Jacaranda - Social Welfare, Royal Swaziland Police, Save the Children.
